Inspired by the Lamplighter character in Le Petit Prince, our goal was to take an apparatus that is commonly used outdoors as ambiance entertainment and recreate it as a duo number that would fit in most cabarets and theaters.
 
The lamplighters light their street lamps every night, just to put them all out in the morning. A simple and repetitive job that can quickly get monotonous, but not tonight!

The pole can be modified to fit in spaces as low as 5 meters, but used at it’s full height is just over 7 meters. It can be incorporated directly into theater stages, but also has a self-supporting base on wheels which can be opened up/closed down by 2 people in 15 seconds, and which allows the pole to be used in any setting.
