Strange Fruit

My name is Cuream Jackson and I'm an aspiring straps artist. I identify as a queer black circus artist and I've been having a lot of trouble processing all the emotions felt from the current climate. The performing arts have always been an integral part of my life and they've helped me through so much. This number is a direct result of all those raw emotions felt and I believe sometimes our bodies' movements can express and carry more weight than words can. This number is quite heavy but I want to dedicate it to the lives lost to police brutality. Black artists matter, melanated voices need to be heard, and black stories need to be shared.
