11TH WEST COAST AERIAL ARTS FESTIVAL

The WCAAF is the very first aerial competition of its kind in the United States – open to young and seasoned aerialists regardless of age or skill level. The WCAAF started in 2013 with the mission to create awareness in the aerial community as a tool to fulfill educational and performance gaps in the discipline. It also serves as a platform for all participants to showcase their skills in a competitive venue while at the same time engaging participants in ways that bring about camaraderie and recognition within and outside our community, building lasting relationships.

The festival comprises of aerial competitions, workshops, an exciting vendor gallery, scholarship opportunities, and a finale culminating performance. The competition is open to all and will comprise of numerous categories based on age group and experience level. Aside from the traditional trophies and medals, WCAAF has to this day been awarding cash prizes to the top three overall winners, and specialty awards such as Best Improved and Innovative Choreography have been added in the last two years. During the event, the workshops will be available to participants taught by world renowned educators and judges highly regarded in their respective aerial fields. There will also be an opportunity to audition for a $500 aerial scholarship!
