APAP Circus Affinity Forum (free!) - Circus Events - CircusTalk
The Circus Affinity Forum, taking place Jan 10, the day before the APAP conference opens, is a free networking and Q & A time at the APAP pre-conference - meaning you can come for FREE even if you are not attending the full APAP conference.

Affinity Forums are informal gatherings offered by APAP as opportunities to connect with peers and colleagues - to network, discuss successes, opportunities and challenges, and meet old friends and make new ones.
The goal of the Circus Affinity Forum is to bring together circus artists and companies aspiring to tour the American theatre market with presenters, theaters, and agents to ask & answer questions in order to help us all elevate circus arts in America.

The Circus Affinity Forum will be moderated by New England Center for Circus Arts Founder Elsie Smith with panelists Keith Nelson (founder of a nationally touring circus company Bindlestiff Family Cirkus), James Lemons (Executive Director of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts), & Monique Martin (Director of Programming Harlem Stage / Former Programming Director Central Park Summer Stage). We'll be focusing on the question: How can we successfully support getting more American circus on stages from whatever role you play, whether you are a performers, presenter, director, venue, etc.
