The third instalment of the F E R A L project - Autumn - will be premiering online at 10pm on 31 October on the Gossamer Thread Circus FB page and on Daisy Black's Youtube Channel:

Feral adj. - in a wild state, especially after escape from captivity or domestication
F E R A L is a year-long project with short films, featuring original prose and circus performances, and fine art prints marking each pivotal moment of the year throughout 2021. The project explores a reconnection with the land, drawing on folklore, the act of rewilding, and the ecological processes of each season.
A portion of income generated from the project has helped plant trees to link two ancient forest at the Make It Wild estate in Devon, and contributed funds to the Dancers' Forest and the Amazon Conservation Project.
The project is supported by Arts Council England, Out There Arts, Copper Dot Studio, Norfolk County Council, Ockham's Razor and Wild Ken Hill (a 1,500 rewilding estate in West Norfolk, where the films were shot.)
