Want to be able to hold your handstand with control and ease?!
Learn the all important foundational tools, drills and technique of handstand training from award-winning circus artist Emma Serjeant (Australia). Wether you are a yogi, dancer, acrobat, carnie, cross-fitter, movement freak or someone that just loves to be able to hold a handstand, this class is for you. You will learn technique for gaining the balance and control over your handstand. Drills and essential daily practice to improve your handstand training, be it for yoga, inverted moments within movement dialogue, breakdancing or the sheer love of balancing on your hands. Please note - To take the class, you must be able to hold your body weight on your hands. (This means you are comfortable to support your full body weight on your two hands, but not necessarily be able to do the balance part). Emma was trained under the guidance of internationally renowned trainer Guang Rong Lu, at the National Institute of Circus Arts (Australia) and has been professionally performing and training handstands for the last 16 years, all over the globe. Emma is one of the very few female artists to be trained by master trainer Mr Lu and after such an amazing career on the stage, she is now focusing on devising works and sharing her skill set while performing on a less full time basis.
