HOW TO FLOAT: C SHAPING BEYOND ROLL UPS w/ Cody Hayman
Take c-shaping beyond roll-ups and explore how to use it with balances, beats, wraps, and releases. We’ll apply tempo to our c-shaping to blend it with dynamic twists, use it to freeze in unexpected balances, and apply it to drops and wraps to create movement patterns that are constantly spiraling, tilting, and twisting.
PREREQS:
This workshop is for rope artists already familiar with roll-ups and beats. Participants must be comfortable with scissor beats, plank beats, a back balance, a hip key roll-up, and at least one other type of roll-up.

FACILITY WITH ABANDON w/ Terry Crane
In this workshop, students will practice moving dynamically with a sense of ease and effortless-ness on the vertical rope. We’ll practice a progression of beats and exercises to generate momentum, and then explore using this momentum to maximum effect – either in flashy power moves or to wrap the rope hands-free. Time allowing, other topics may include: fake release moves, building large drops, using body shape to roll up, and some sequences of movement to take home.
PREREQS:
Participants must have 1 year of rope or tissue training, ability to do several pull-ups, and do multiple bent- arm, or straight-arm straddle-ups.

HIP HOP FOR LIFE w/ Cody Hayman
A fountain of joy for those who have mastered them and an endless source of frustration for those still grappling with them, hip hops are the nexus of nearly every wrap you can entangle yourself in. This workshop will deconstruct and demystify this move in order to explore its many entries and creative applications.
PREREQS:
Students should be able to do straight-arm inversions, hold a meathook, and be willing to engage in some rope nerd discourse.
