6-Day International Workshop «Physicality in Performance»

The international program is open for performance and movement practitioners, directors of theatre, dance and circus from all over the world interested in advancing their professional skills in directing, ensemble building, composition understanding, as well as enhancing professional tools such as body, voice and mind through daily creative practice.

The workshop is designed as the introductory session to performers physical training, a movement for actors sessions and composition of the movement on stage, relying on some elements of Russian theatre tradition of theatre biomechanics and the newest experiments in performing arts, such as animal flow and many others. The workshop is a highly practical and intensive residential lab, where students can expect being involved in the training full day.
