Pickled Image presents - Caulrophobia - Circus Events - CircusTalk
As part of the Devizes International Street Festival, DOCA are proud to present Pickled Image’s bizarre show, Coulrophobia. Tickets £12 Adults £8 Concessions (Under 18’s, Adults over 65, Registered disabled, Students with valid Student ID) Tickets will be available via the Wharf Theatre Box Office. Dik and Adam are Clowns! They couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag, let alone a surreal cardboard world. Why are they there and what are they supposed to be doing? They know something sinister is afoot (wearing really big shoes…) and they need to get out before it’s too late. Join them on a ridiculous, anarchic, often hysterical and sometimes terrifying quest for freedom. A 75-minute show featuring slapstick, mime, puppetry and a LOT of cardboard. Keep an eye out for these clowns as they will also be escaping on Monday 27th August during the Street Festival in the Market Place! And when you think it’s all over, come along to the Devizes Confetti Battle on 29th August, where their escape plan gets kicked up a notch and comes to its messy conclusion during a spectacular specially commissioned show at this year’s confetti Battle. Coulrophobia contains disappointing nudity and some language better suited to those aged 14+. Their street performances are family friendly and commissioned by DOCA especially for Devizes. Coulrophobia is funded by Arts Council of England and Nordland Visual Theatre.
