Weave Movement Theatre Masterclass - Circus Events - CircusTalk
Facilitated by Janice Florence- Artistic Director of Weave Movement Theatre

In this workshop Janice will introduce exercises and choreographic ideas which are flexible enough to include diverse bodies and minds. Improvisation and playfulness play a large role in Weave's process of developing work and finding the strengths of each performer. Suitable for both experienced and emerging artists, this workshop will provide new tools and a deepening of your creative practice.

Weave Movement Theatre is an inclusive dance/physical theatre company comprising performers with a range of disability. Janice Florence is its founder and Artistic Director. For many of its 21 years Weave was the only disability led company in Australia. Trained in experimental dance forms, Janice found herself evolving a new way of seeing and doing dance after acquiring a physical disability many years ago.
