About

A few smallish platforms, a trampoline, a teeter board and four men…

Four acrobats watch each other, gauge, run into, carry, throw each other and sweep us along in their metaphoric farandole: meetings, exploits, mistakes, power games, seductions, manipulations, an “intarsio” made up of fragments of life, a glimpse into the kaleidoscope of human relationships.

A circus in constant movement, strong, poetic, funny and heart-warming, a moment which inspires real tenderness for the strange beast that is the human being.

History of the Company

Compañía de Circo “eia” (Unforetold Flights in Harmony (élans imprévus accordés) in French, ‘yes’ in Sardinian) sees the light in 2009 as a fusion between several artists: Armando Rabanera, Fabrizio Giannini and Cristiano Della Monica (Cirque Vague, Circo de la Sombra and Le Grand Osim Orchestra) and Francesca Lissia and Celso Pereira (Celso y Frana). After 5 years of artistic experience as a collective (CAPAS, the company’s first creation, toured all over Europe playing over 150 times in 12 countries) the moment came to investigate other possibilities, inviting other artists to join the team in order to take part in two new projects: Espera, outdoor circus show, and inTarsi, indoor circus show, which is the subject of this presentation.

”In a era where difference is often seen as a problem, we seek to make our particularities a strength and a source of invention to be explored over a period of truly collective research, as a reflection of the colour and variety of the world we live in.”
