Limb(e)s is visceral aerial dance set in the limbo beyond loss. Using two bodies and the surrogate limbs of aerial rope, it explores the inevitable solitude at the core of our mortality and our struggle to hold onto or let go of one another across multiple planes. Limb(e)s combines emotionally raw physicality with a haunting original soundscape by Canadian composer Nicolas Bernier, and an evocative costume design of Kinbaku ropes by French designer Coline Dubois-Gryspeert. The result is a hypnotic, destabilizing narrative full of mourning, distant hope, and eerie beauty.
