Flying Trapeze Coaching Course - Stage 1 - Circus Events - CircusTalk
Circus Arts is offering a unique course that will teach you all the skills necessary to become a Flying Trapeze Coach. The course is run at Circus Arts Byron Bay and consists of two stages.

Stage 1 | Mon 17th - Thu 20th September 2018
Stage 2 | Fri 21st - Sun 23rd September 2018

Stages can be booked together or separately.

Stage 1
Times: 10am-3:30pm each day including a half hour break
Price: $750
20% off for our regular students - $600

You will get to learn the fundamentals that are necessary to start training as a flying trapeze instructor. The course will cover board, ground, basic lines and catching.

The course we had in June was booked out and we have limited spaces available in the upcoming course, so book now!

Ground Work
– warm up
– group management
– basic practice bar and spotting
– basic equipment checks
Board Work
– single swings
– regular class board work including catch rounds
Basic Safety Line Operation
– single swings
– basic positions to net
Basics of Catching
– understanding basic theory of catching
– catch locks achieved
