360 Degrees: Circus Through a Holistic Lens with Stacy Clark–Ep. 2, Bouncing Around with Director Zeb Hunter

With our new video interview series called 360 Degrees: Circus Through a Holistic Lens with Stacy Clark, we kick off our PRO Space for PRO Subscribers. Stacy Clark is the host of this exciting new video interview series which will provide a deep dive into the world of elite athletes and performers while tying in the practical tools she provides with her holistic approach to coaching. Stacy has years of experience in the industry working with artists and industry leaders from around the world and her work has been instrumental in shaping the contemporary circus landscape.
In episode 2, I jump into it with Zeb Hunter, artist, academic, show director and artistic director of Circus Monoxide in New South Wales, Australia. We discuss the importance of “fit” when casting artists, as well as formal and informal casting methods. This led us to one of Zeb’s recent projects, The Construct, a creation that didn’t just pay lip service to diversity and inclusion, but actually practiced it.
