During our fourth and final episode of Circus Voices Presents A Creative Space, we welcome Alexandre Teodoresco and Didier Stowe of “Drop The Act” as they shed some light on this innovative project within the Circus Arts.

Didier and Alex share their stories that brought them to this new technology and discuss the artistic and immersive possibilities NFTs can bring to the performing arts and within the metaverse. Join us as we receive a special sneak peek at the “Drop The Act” project, and how they view this new technology as changing the audience experience for the future.

Alexandre Teodoresco is the Director of Strategic Development and Innovation at The 7 Fingers. The 7 Fingers are leaders in live performance in Canada and have been travelling the world with their original creations for over 20 years. Alexandre focuses his work on the future of live performance. His mandate is to guide The 7 Fingers into new markets and to design and implement strategies to explore new horizons for the company. His comfort zone and the projects he leads are at the intersection of human creativity, live performance, and technology. One of his structuring projects, LAB7, already allows 7 Doigts to embark on the adventure of AR, VR, XR, AI and, of course, the Metaverse.

Thomas Chambers
Circus Artist, Director and Producer -CANADA
Thomas Chambers is a Circus Artist, Director and Producer, based in Montréal, Quebec. After over a decade of trampoline competition, participating in many Canadian National Championships and notably to the Indo-Pacifc Games in Kakegawa Japan in 2010, Thomas had the opportunity to join Les Productions Haut-Vol as a performer in Toronto that kick started his career as a professional Circus Artist. Thomas has been performing globally in Big Tops with the Catwall Acrobats, Cirque Du Soliel, Flip Fabrique, and more. Since 2015, Thomas has had the pleasure of directing and choreographing over a dozen circus-based productions. He recently co-created the short film FOUND STRANDED (Winner of the Founders AWARD at the Circus International Film Festival) with Didier Stowe, Veronica Herrera Munguia, and Shannon Gélinas, produced by Les Improduits. While constantly in active creation, Thomas is currently completing his degree at McGill University in Executive Production in Creative Industries.
