Aíne Norris is a doctoral student in the Department of English at Old Dominion University. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.A. (2004) and M.A. (2016) in English and research. Her research explores the lives of forgotten or misrepresented women in literature and American history and the evolution of local folklore and superstition. Norris serves as a trustee for the Circus Historical Society. Her research on murdered circus aerialist Eva Clark has been featured in The Cincinnati Enquirer, The News Virginian, and as a TV special feature on WHSV TV3.
