Circus Juventas Celebrates 25 years of Circus Excellence

25 long years ago, Dan and Betty Butler had a dream to create the world’s premier youth circus performing arts organization. They hoped to be recognized for providing innovative programming, world-class training, and professional-level performances in a state-of-the-art circus center. Now based in St. Paul, Minnesota, over 1,500 students thrive under the big top they built.

She recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a BFA in dance, minor in communication studies, and a certificate in entrepreneurship in performing arts. Shannon’s dream is to help the performing arts thrive and she is proudly doing that as part of the Circus Juventas team. Shannon is also a dance teacher and is a freelance performer in the Twin Cities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé, and dancing in her kitchen.
