The announcement of the Hideaway Circus’ new tour is a spark of good news for the circus community. It is worthy to note that the cast is entirely composed of American artists, an anomaly for the circus community. On how they’ve prepared the artists for their return to the stage, co-founder Josh Aviner says:

“We started developing the show concept for Stars Above a little over a year ago and collaborating with the composers, Book Kennison and Peter Bufano, to create original music for the production. This past winter we cast the circus artists and brought on the creative team, and to date, nearly all our pre-production meetings and rehearsals have been held virtually over Zoom.
