Jeannot Painchaud Is One of the Thirty-Three Quebec Personalities to Receive the Ordre National du Québec
Quebec has paid tribute to exceptional individuals who, through their achievements, values and ideals, have influenced Quebec’s growth and contributed to its renown. This year, Jeannot Painchaud received the prestigious title of Knight last Thursday, as one of the 33 honoured recipients of the Ordre national du Québec.
Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard had the honour of welcoming these personalities during the ceremony held at the Quebec City Parliament Building on Thursday, June 22, as part of the province’s Fête nationale du Québec. Celebrating excellence and merit, the Ordre national du Québec is an honorary order that is distinguished by three grades and is the most prestigious recognition granted by the province of Quebec.
