Montréal Circus School Announces New Director of Studies

Circus schools are back in swing and Ecole national de cirque (ENC) announced their new director of studies (Thursday, September 16th). It is none other than former graduate, circus artist and Cirque du Soleil artistic director James Tanabe. ENC states on their Facebook page, “He succeeded Daniela Arendasova, who retired after 33 years of meaningful contributions to the growth and development of the institution. Graduated from our School in 2004, James Tanabe was chosen for his in-depth knowledge of circus arts, international social implications, and assertive strategic vision. We welcome him to our team!” To learn more about James Tanabe’s nomination and to practise your French while doing so, visit the ENC news page.
The CircusTalk team would like to congratulate ENC and James on his appointment!
