Farewell to Editor Kim Campbell

We announce today that Editor-in-Chief Kim Campbell has left CircusTalk. Like many during the pandemic, Kim has re-evaluated their priorities and is shifting their focus to their writing, family, and independent editing.

Kim’s journey with CircusTalk goes back to the genesis of CircusTalk in 2017. Joining forces with Andrea Honis, the pair created something truly special for the circus sector through a combination of hard work, determination and shared goals. Kim’s commitment to circus journalism connected and resonated with the circus community worldwide.

Kim’s CircusTalk highlights include: sitting on the International Circus Awards’ jury, the circus news podcast Press Pass with the Editorend-of-year articles, tackling Me Too and queer circus, and more.

CircusTalk is grateful for Kim’s camaraderie, passion, loyalty, and support. Kim is known not only for their ability to speak up but also for their ability to listen; they are a mentor and a friend. We wish Kim the very best in their future endeavors.

As we move into 2022, CircusTalk is re-visioning and re-tooling the platform, positioning ourselves as the professional career platform for circus and performing arts. Our content strategy is shifting to align with our new business model of multiple membership levels and enhanced casting tools, plus professional content that inspires, informs, and educates. The team looks forward to sharing our exciting new developments with all of you!
