Edinburgh Getting Huge Circus with Daring ‘Globe of Death’ and Acrobats
The Cirque Berserk will take up residency in Edinburgh throughout the festival fringe, with five stuntmen to take on the ‘Globe of Death’ each evening as well as other performances . Edinburgh is set to see one of the UK’s biggest and most daring circus shows arrive in time for the summer.
Cirque Berserk! have confirmed they will be returning to the capital for the first time since 2019 for the fringe, with jaw-dropping acts and a full cast of acrobats.
Pitching up the big top at the Pleasance, the show will feature a number of performances, from comedic skits to some gut-wrenching stunts.
With a cast of over 30 people, the hour-long show is set to feature what is described as the “Globe of Death”, which will see five stuntmen race motorbikes around the cage.
Driving at speeds of over 60mph, the group will be just a hairs length away from a fatal crash, leaving audiences with their hearts in their mouths as they perform the act…. Read the full article at Edinburgh Live.
