In this episode of the Live Like An Acrobat Podcast, host Shenea Stiletto interviews physical comedian, acrobat, dancer, and circus act choreographer Mickael Bajazet about the accessibility of circus. Mickael trained at France’s acclaimed Annie Fratellini Circus School. For years he performed with the trio Les Petit Frères, a gravity-defying act that wowed international audiences at Europe’s top venues, including Cirque d’hiver Bouglione in Paris, Apollo Variete in Düsseldorf, Tiger Palast in Frankfurt, and the WinterGarten in Berlin. With Teatro ZinZanni, he has performed in Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle, where Mickael has also performed a duo act with his wife, contortionist and dancer Vita Radionova.

Shenea Stiletto

Shenea Stiletto (Shenea Booth) is a two-time World Champion Gold Medalist in Acrobatic gymnastics, a USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Member, and World Acrobatic Society Inductee. Her career includes a decade of collaborations with Cirque Du Soleil including the coveted hand balancing role as "The Promise" in Varekai, becoming the first-ever African American female soloist to play a lead character in a Cirque Du Soleil production. Shenea was also a finalist on America’s Got Talent and has continued to be a featured artist with prominent circus entertainment companies worldwide.
