On this episode of the Live Like An Acrobat Podcast, host Shenea Stiletto interviews Samantha Panda, a world traveling Contortionist, Aerialist, and Artivist(Artist+Activist) who is currently fighting to overturn an outdated local ordinance in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that prohibits the wearing of thong bikinis. 

Samantha Panda has overcome tremendous adversity in her professional acrobatic career. Her tenacity has allowed not even a broken neck to stop her fierce determination to inhabit the circus stage. 

Samantha Panda is an American acrobat, aerialist and contortionist. She has lived and performed all over the world but most notably in Asia and Europe in Big Top shows, burlesque shows, drag shows, theme parks, resorts and club venues everywhere from Taipei to Jakarta to Zakynthos. She currently lives in Myrtle Beach, SC with her partner and her dogs.

Shenea Stiletto (Shenea Booth) is a two-time World Champion Gold Medalist in Acrobatic gymnastics, a USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Member, and World Acrobatic Society Inductee. Her career includes a decade of collaborations with Cirque Du Soleil including the coveted hand balancing role as "The Promise" in Varekai, becoming the first-ever African American female soloist to play a lead character in a Cirque Du Soleil production.
Shenea was also a finalist on America’s Got Talent and has continued to be a featured artist with prominent circus entertainment companies worldwide.
