This weeks episode of the Live Like An Acrobat Podcast hosted by Shenea Stiletto features special guest Founder & Creative Director of SOAR Aerial Dance Gena DuBose.

Gena is a movement artist, aerial hoop coach, and the founder of SOAR Aerial Dance. Her performance work with SOAR Aerial Dance focuses on collaborating with professional, local artists to bridge the gap between aerial dance and performance art in her community, telling honest stories along the way. She is the creator of the Aerial Instructor Enhancement Program, a 6-week, interactive, online course for instructors to gain confidence in their teaching, while adding creative techniques to their classes. In the Spring of 2021, Gena will launch her Aerial Hoop Teacher Training, a full aerial hoop curriculum that she has curated over the last 8 years.

Shenea Stiletto (Shenea Booth) is a two-time World Champion Gold Medalist in Acrobatic gymnastics, a USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Member, and World Acrobatic Society Inductee. Her career includes a decade of collaborations with Cirque Du Soleil including the coveted hand balancing role as "The Promise" in Varekai, becoming the first-ever African American female soloist to play a lead character in a Cirque Du Soleil production.
Shenea was also a finalist on America’s Got Talent and has continued to be a featured artist with prominent circus entertainment companies worldwide.
