Show Goes on for Christchurch Buskers Festival Despite Global Events Meltdown
A collapse of the global events industry will not hurt Christchurch’s annual buskers festival.
The Australian company behind the Bread & Circus World Buskers Festival has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, but is excited to stage the event in Christchurch next year.
Strut & Fret was appointed in 2018 to operate the event after the festival suffered a series of financial losses.
Director Scott Maidment said it was one of the few events the company organises that could still go ahead.
