Underbelly, London’s signature multidisciplinary performing arts art festival, is set to return to London this Summer!

The iconic Upside Down Purple Cow, Udderbelly, is set to return to Earls Court this summer with jaw-dropping circus acts, comedy shows that will leave you crying with laughter, and entertainment for all the family. All of this, alongside beautiful outdoor bars and delicious street food. World-class entertainment will be on offer across two ‘udderly’ brilliant sites, at Earls Court from 5th May – 16th July and at Cavendish Square from 28th April – 31st July.

Earls Court – After last year’s smash-hit London Wonderground festival, the iconic Upside Down Purple Cow, Udderbelly, will return to Earls Court offering comedy-lovers shows from the most LOL-worthy names alongside jaw-dropping circus acts, shows for all the family to enjoy and beautiful outdoor bars and street food. Underbelly Festival Earls Court is in partnership with Earls Court Development Company, located on the site of the historic Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre.

Cavendish Square – In the heart of the west end and Oxford Street District, Underbelly Festival’s famous Spiegeltent will once again take up residence in Cavendish Square. This festival location will serve up another helping of superb cabaret, comedy, and family shows.

“Underbelly Festival is a sure sign that summer is approaching and we are so excited for what 2022 has in store. To be able to announce such a brilliant programme of live comedy, circus, cabaret and drag variety at its very best is such an honour and we couldn’t be more proud of the shows on the line-up.  Being back at Earls Court and Cavendish Square is the perfect fit so do come along for top-quality live entertainment, amazing outdoor bars, and premium street food. We hope to see you there,” added Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood, Underbelly co-directors.

Underbelly started to announce the line up.  Two highlights from the rich programming:

-> A dazzling showcase of superhuman strength, speed, skill, and flight lands in Earls Court this spring with Circus Abyssinia.

-> Award magnets YUMMY are back in London due to popular demand!

“We’re delighted to bring the Underbelly Festival back to Earls Court from May. Last year over 114,000 people were entertained on this site that enjoys such a strong creative heritage and with a star-studded line-up of shows, theatre and comedy, Earls Court is the place to be this summer. The return of Underbelly will once again create new jobs and training opportunities for local people. We have an exciting year ahead of us as we continue opening the site back up – and this is just the beginning as we work to bring the wonder back to Earls Court,” said Rob Heasman, CEO of The Earls Court Development Company.
