Veronica Blair of the Uncle Junior Project recently partnered with Felicity Hesed, San Francisco based clown and storyteller, to create this video to encourage people to vote. Veronica and Felicity honor Ida B. Wells’s legacy in this collaboration as they encourage people to vote while recognizing that history teaches us that many before us have had to fight to win the opportunity to vote.

Veronica choreographed this aerial performance to complement the history of Ida B. Wells, a pioneer of the women’s suffrage movement and anti-lynching activist.
