At our courses, especially one-week workshops, we enhance practical education in multidisciplinary and multicultural groups. It is part of the institution's philosophy.
NIPAI's vision of theatre directing education may vary from other schools. We base our approach in teaching the directing on a Traditional Russian Theatre School, especially Meyerhold's approach to directing.
At our programs, directors and actors, choreographers and dancers, circus directors and circus performers, and other performers are actively engaged in cooperation.
Students will explore practically:
"Theatre Biomechanics"of Vsevolod Meyerhold, "Psychological Gesture" of M. Chekhov, "Physical Action" of K. Stanislavski, training by the method of improvisation, dramaturgy in movement, scene composition and more.
