About

Michael and Dario are two brothers that descend from one of the oldest Italian circus dynasties: the Togni family.

After living their first years on tour following the steps of their father Andrea, an aerial acrobat, and their mother Katherine, a professional ballet dancer, the two Italo-Brits brothers studied and trained at the Academy of Circus Arts in Verona. Directly after their graduation, Michael and Dario got back on the road as professionals and have been performing all over the world since then. Together they perform icarian games and in art they are known as the Togni Brothers.

Icarian games is a traditional yet very rare circus acrobatic discipline and takes its name from the greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus as it expressed the human desire to fly. Just like the legend goes, also icarian games was initially played by father and son, as the flyer is usually not heavier than a kid.

The Togni Brothers decided to take this stereotype and overcome it, making them probably the tallest acrobats on the market. In fact, Michael who is 2 meters tall, juggles with his feet and flips Dario in the air, who weights a whopping 85kg: this was never seen before in a flyer.
