12th West Coast Aerial Arts Festival - Circus Events - CircusTalk
When and Where:  Nov. 8 – 11, 2024  Anaheim, California
Event: Aerial Arts Competition, Workshops, Scholarship Auditions, and Aerial Culminating Concert
Enrollment Opens:  May 1, 2024

The West Coast Aerial Arts Festival is proud to return for its 12th annual year! The very first aerial competition of its kind in the United States, the WCAAF is open to young and seasoned aerialists regardless of age or skill level. The festival began in 2013 with the mission to spread awareness in the aerial community and to fill educational and performance gaps in the discipline. Serving as a platform to showcase skills in a competitive venue, the WCAAF also fosters camaraderie and recognition among its participants to build lasting relationships within and outside our community.

The festival events include the competition, workshops, a vendor gallery, scholarship opportunities, and a final culminating performance. The competition comprises numerous categories based on age group and experience level. Aside from the traditional trophies and medals, WCAAF also awards cash prizes to the top three overall winners, along with specialty awards including Innovative Choreography.  Festival workshops are taught by world renowned and highly regarded educators and judges in their respective aerial fields. There will also be an opportunity to audition for a $500 aerial scholarship!

The vendor gallery showcases businesses who support and/or are related to the aerial arts community. The WCAAF is funded by Aerial Arts America, its donors, sponsors, and program advertisers, and we also rely on your support as promoters and school team competitors. The festival is a tremendous undertaking driven by a committee of directors and volunteers. We appreciate your endorsement and active participation, and invite discussion of your further involvement.

Let’s join hands with everyone in celebrating our passion for aerial arts at the 12th West Coast Aerial Arts Festival from November 8th-11th, 2024 in Costa Mesa, California!  Check out our media posts on Instagram and Facebook
