As the visionary and circus director behind Cirkör, she has catalysed artistic development, new collaborations, and societal engagement and promoted research and innovation within the circus arts. Tilde Björfors has placed Cirkus Cirkör on the world map.

“Tilde’s significance for Cirkus Cirkör and the development of contemporary circus, both in Sweden and internationally, cannot be overstated. She has established an entirely new art form and founded one of Sweden’s most cutting-edge performing arts institutions.
