Angela Calo is a native of Washington, D.C., and is a graduate of The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater.
Angela has spent most of her life on stage, on set, or in a studio, having appeared on network television and in several feature films. She has also worked for MLB, The Washington National Cathedral, and is an established entrepreneur, having designed and created a casting, audition, and talent management platform called Gig2Gig. Because of Angela’s progress with Gig2Gig, she caught the attention of Andrew and Rick and was invited to be a co-founder of a much larger project, JamarGIG.
Ms. Calo has performed professionally around the world for over 25 years and has starred in iconic Broadway roles such as Miss Lynch in Grease, Mama Morton in CHICAGO the Musical, and, most memorably, Grizabella in CATS.
