Circus Cities with Shenea Stiletto – Santiago

“Circus Cities” is a CircusTalk Original Video Series by “Think Like an Acrobat” host Shenea Stiletto. In each episode, Shenea will explore a city with a vibrant circus community by sitting down with artists and service providers who reside there. The conversations will range from basics to specifics, from job opportunities and training space to living opportunities and conditions, including visas and work permits. This series is designed to equip you with everything you need to know about these cities, so you can see what’s out there and feel confident in your decision to permanently or temporarily relocate…or not! The first four episodes cover Las Vegas, Montréal, Berlin, and Dubai, with this fifth episode spotlighting Santiago, Chile. What other cities do you want to see on the list?

Fernando Antonio González Arismendi

Fernando Antonio González Arismendi is a 24 year old professional, self-taught aerial hoop artist, and flexibility instructor from Chile who has been working on various TV shows and circus tours since 2013. He started with contortion at the age of 10 years old, but due to an injury in 2021, decided to develop a different style of aerial hoop, transitioning from aerial contortion to aerial flow. Since then, he judges on different South American Tournaments and goes on Masterclass and performance tours in countries like the US, Argentina, Canada and Poland. He is also a 4-time South American champion on aerial hoop, awarded between 2018 and 2019.

Cesar Zaldivar Muñoz

Cesar Zaldivar Muñoz is a Psychologist and Master in Organizational Psychology, Yoga Instructor and Instructor in Circus techniques, with more than 14 years of experience in managing projects linked to the field of sports, specifically Wellbeing and Circus Arts. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Circus School and Yoga Studio project called Elevarte Circo Yoga, coordinating the actions of the commercial area, finances, marketing and HR. Cesar is interested in the development of the entire human being, creating value in the connection that is generated when the mind, emotions, body and spirit are connected, and from this truth he is inspired to teach and share the values ​​of a healthy life to the community.
