Feld Entertainment Appoints Giulio Scatola as Director — Casting & Performance for New Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey

Feld Entertainment recently announced some exciting news, the appointment of a new casting director, Giulio Scatola.

Scatola happily shared the news on social media channels, stating. “I am very excited to announce that I have joined the iconic Feld Entertainment Inc. as Director — Casting & Performance for the new Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey — The Greatest Show on Earth. Lookout for future Casting Calls and news about this spectacular journey ahead.“

Scatola’s background as a dancer, singer and actor, as well as a coach, director and choreographer positions him well for the role. From 2008 until 2012, Scatola worked for Cirque du Soleil as the original artistic specialist and casting advisor for all the resident shows in the USA and Asia (encompassing 12 Shows). He was featured in the documentary How to get into Cirque and created the original short dance movie Liquid Sunshine for the One Drop Charity Event in 2012. He has directed and choreographed innumerable shows since then.

His creations have won various local awards and international recognitions (Gold Pegasus, Vogue Magazine, Rome Central Magazine, Silver in Monte Carlo Circus Festival). Some of his work is still featured in shows like Absinthe (Las Vegas) and Palazzo (Germany) and have been also featured in TV shows such as SYTYCD Convention, Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.

Steve Yaros,  Senior Vice President of Media and Global Communications at Feld Entertainment says, “We are delighted to have Giulio joining us in his new role, as he brings a tremendous amount of experience to our team.”

Congratulations Giulio Scatola on your new appointment and rest assured that circus artists everywhere and American fans are excitedly awaiting the next phase of your work, casting the shows!
